Juanima Hiatt, Nonfiction Editor

Since she was a young girl, Juanima had a passion for the written word. As a child, she wrote plays and used puppets to perform them for her family and friends. As a teenager, Juanima enjoyed writing poetry and short stories, but regretfully, kept them to herself. She worked for fifteen years in the corporate world as an Executive Assistant, until a tragic turning of events caused a major detour in her life. Through a long battle with post-traumatic stress disorder, Juanima has learned the power of persistence, determination, and resiliency, and applauds anyone who makes that decision to never give up. Today, Juanima has returned to her innate passion for writing. She currently lives in Oregon with her beloved husband and two daughters, the best lab/coonhound dog in the world, and the cat who adopted them all.

Juanima served as Nonfiction Editor and contest judge for Watch Me Bounce.

Her memoir, The Invisible Storm, is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble. You can visit her blog at http://www.juanimahiatt.com.
